Onilwe Resort Weligama

The room was a good size and really classy with a balcony 🌿. I liked that it was nestled in nature, such a peaceful spot for a quiet escape.

Came in Weligama to relax and have fun, this brand-new hotel was super base for doing it. Particularly good location, it was short walk to nearby shops, nearby shops and restaurants and Galle. The restaurant was not too far from the venue.

Location: the hotel was close enough to quite area, the forever honking mad buses and the beach, shop and restaurants. The staff was very amiable, as well as owner.

The breakfast here was awesome, with lots of tasty options. the rooms are newly redone and super spacious, complete with a balcony and a cool modern bathroom. Couldn't find a single thing to gripe about! 🌟.

Delicious food, perfect location. the staff here are super friendly and always willing to help out, which is nice. Loved my room, especially the modern bathroom - felt like luxury! And don't even get me started on how comfy the bed was 😊.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and modern, with all the right comforts. The air conditioning worked perfectly, important in the hot weather. The bathroom was nice, with a big mirror and hot water. The hotel is situated on a quiet road, away from the noisy and busy buses. The location is also close to the river, adding to the serene atmosphere. The staff were very helpful, and the owner was friendly. He even arranged a traditional table for the guests during the New Year celebration, an exciting experience. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious with a big selection, and they also offered traditional Sri Lankan breakfast options like coconut roti and milk tea.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

no soap in the bathroom

The room I stayed in at Onilwe Resort Weligama had a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. It made me feel refreshed and ready for the day. I loved that some rooms at the resort have a river view. Waking up to the peaceful sight of flowing water was so calming. The air conditioning in all the rooms was a blessing, especially on hot days. It kept the room wonderfully cool. I appreciated that the room had a kettle. I could make a cup of tea whenever I wanted, just the way I liked it. Having a desk in the room was so convenient. I could get some work done or use it as a space to plan my day.

Personally, I found the kitchen in the twin/double room to be unnecessary. I prefer eating out and trying local cuisine.

The room was impeccably clean and charmingly decorated. It had everything I needed, from air conditioning to a cozy bed. I even extended my stay because I couldn't get enough. Thank you for a lovely time.

Oh, how I enjoyed the long trek from the beach and restaurants to get back to the hotel. What a delightful exercise!

my recent stay in weligama was amazing and luxurious thanks to onilwe resort. the peaceful atmosphere and recently renovated rooms made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the continental and srilankan breakfast options were delicious and the fast wifi was a bonus. highly recommended!

One small thing was missing in the room.

I got great value for my money at Onilwe Resort. The room was comfortable and well-designed, and I had the best sleep in weeks. The location was perfect - close enough to the beach and shops, but tucked away in a peaceful oasis. The staff, especially the owner Janaka, were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with more variety.

The property was absolutely amazing, the room was mind-blowing with all the modern comforts. The air conditioning worked like a dream, perfect for the scorching heat. Located on a peaceful road, away from chaotic buses. The hot water worked perfectly and the bathroom was stunning with a big mirror. We initially booked for 4 nights but ended up staying 7, it was the perfect place to unwind after a month of traveling. The staff were incredibly helpful and the manager was extremely friendly. The room was pristine, well-decorated, and had everything we needed. The air conditioning, hot shower, and comfy bed were a delight. We even extended our stay because we loved it so much. The breakfast served was amazing and the manager prepared it personally. The four friendly dogs on the property were a joy to be around. The manager was always available and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. The room was spacious with a modern bathroom, and the air conditioning and wifi worked flawlessly. It was conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and town. Although we didn't try the food, the overall value for money was exceptional. We would happily stay here again.
